Find DeWalt Fillers(s) to get to 100$ for free shipping here:

https://fastenersinc.net/pages/se...asc&page=1

Took a filler I'll later return to Lowe's or HD.

Charged no tax to us here in Florida.

Amazon wants 3.50$ less, but saved 2.55$ in tax that Amazon would've charged me.

Wow, a $10 corded tool for $90 just so you dont need a cord.... yeas such a slick deal.. sure...
What is with people on Slickdeals commenting on something for sale that they don't like? If it doesn't make sense for your application, then move on. Obviously this product isn't for you. But, this is a decent price for it, and some people such as me could use it. Not everyone has easy access to an outlet. Sometimes job sites or situations call for this. The alternative could be hauling around a generator or hundreds of feet of electrical cord for a five minute job. Can't always use an open flame torch to warm something up. Jesus.

Wow, spend $10, are you nuts? I can buy a $1 torch lighter and do the same job! Yes indeed, there's always something that's not the same thing, but that's cheaper available. End sarcasm.

I suspect the people that need this tools will buy it and ignore your opinion. 10 thumbs down for you.

I have this. Sad to say as it does not blow real hot air. You might be better with hair dryer.

Ever use a heat gun to take old paint off siding 3 stories up? Sure would be nice not having a cord in that situation.

These eat so much energy, I really wouldn't want a cordless hot air gun unless I'd have a specific use case preventing the use of a corded version. This will chew thru batteries, or not work as well as a corded version, though it's DeWalt, so I imagine it's the former.

You should exchange it then because we use them and they're hot enough to burn skin. We've heated pizza to boiling cheese in the dead of winter outside with these. They suck up batteries, but they do work awesome. If you're doesn't get hot it's definitely defective.

I already did it once thinking it was defective. Was hoping to use peel off paint and it didn't do much.

I'm really surprised to hear that. I wonder what the issue is. We've used it to thaw frozen pipes. It's not let us down.

i use the cheap harbor freight plug in one to start my kamodo grill, usually has to run for a few min. Would this do that on a 4 ah battery or would i kill it? cordless would be nice.

You are right it does eat 5ah batteries and less but some of us already have a bunch of 8ah batteries and 12ah flexvolt on the jobsite and a ton of other tools so battery energy isnt really a concern for some of us. Its jus another tool to pop in a battery a get to work quickly. Its jus too convenient to not have battery powered at this point for any tool. For some ppl
