How do the r41m compare to the micca mb42x? Was considering those for rears and sides. Trying to decide to finish off in complete RP.
What are your fronts?
I'm 5 channel with 2 atmos. LCR fronts are klipsch RP line. The other 4 speakers are old Bose satellites.

This is part of my hesitation... I currently have Polk Monitor 40s all the way around with a Polk CS1 Center and Klipsch 12" sub.

Polk never made a small enough speaker in that line that could be used as an Atmos speaker. Ended up picking these up directly thru Polk a few years back on closeout.

My hesitation is if the sound/tone would match. Overall I read these have awesome highs and and mids but no noticeable lows. Not really an issue with a sub.

I'm more interested in matching for aesthetics. Rears/surround/atmos or at height speakers are largely just for effects. I don't think tone matching matters for effects

I guess I think this speaker looks a little cheesy. RP line was quiet the upgrade.

I have these leftover mounted as my rears in a 5.2.2 setup.

These honestly seem to serve that purpose fine. I doubt you are going to find anything better for surrounds for 90 bucks
