This deal is for the newest generation Dell XPS released in late 2020. Best deal I've found for any XPS with the integrated Iris Xe graphics. This upgrade improves graphics performance by 40% compared to the 10th generation Intel chips according to the following video.

I am not trying to be cocky but QHD is better than 4k. My wife has the 4k one and her battery runs out quicker than mine. Also barely any resolution difference between QHD and 4k for XPS. Also another thing to keep in mind is that XPS have their air inlet at the bottom so whenever you use this keep it on a solid surface. Blankets and comforters can block the air inlet.

I agree. But, there is no QHD version XPS.

You won't notice too big of a difference between a 1080p and a 4k screen on a 13-inch laptop, but you will notice 3 hours shorter battery life on the 4k version.

Correct, the OP model does have upgradeable SSD. And since someone upthread mentioned the 2-in-1 version, that model has soldered (non-replaceable) SSD and RAM.

That was me. And ewwww, that's a travesty. I knew they used to do that but hoped it wasn't the case. The 2 in 1 is like $70-80 more for the same config I believe. But you'd obviously want to go the extra $80 or so for the upgrade to 16gb of ram and 512 ssd there.

I might have misspoken. I own the ~2k resolution one. Bought it last year. I think 2k is called something like UHD maybe ? But anyways yeah we are on the same page.
