buy an extra stick of 2666mhz 8gb ddr4 stick and youtube it. its easy as pie.

this is a great buy. the card alone is $220 on best buy right now about to sell out, the cpu is $150+, 512gb nvme is 50+, & windows is $15+ (just for a key from a 3rd party).

Exactly. The XPS is like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Vostro is any inferior Apple phone.

Is it better than https://slickdeals.net/f/14771809-alive-again-dell-xps-desktop-i5-10400-6gb-gtx-1660-super-256gb-ssd...

1650Super vs 1660Super
The difference seems to be the GPU and SSD. This deal should be $35 cheaper based on the price of components to be as good of a deal as the XPS. However, the Dell G5 does have adequate thermals according to https://powerup-gaming.com/2020/1...warf-star/

The XPS is a better buy IMO. I'd wait.

A friend has been waiting a month on his 1650 super from Dell. Dell kept pushing the date back. Finally, Dell cancelled the order yesterday. But here they are selling computers with 1650 super in them

Assuming the XPS with 1660 super at $590 deal will be back, and if you are able to wait, go for the XPS. But if you need a pc now and can do with the 1650 card, this deal is better than most others.

I would personally set a deal alert on the xps with 1660 and grab it whenever it comes back.

Would you recommend spending the extra 100 to get this and parting ways with a 2600/570 8 gig?

How's the cooling?

I'd go with this one unless you prefer the XPS build quality.
