Good for the danks?
349 bucks? I guess after like 27 years I'll break even. On tomatoes.
Herbs are more valuable to me than tomatoes. I got the harvest used for 40 and love having parsley, basil, and chives to add to my cooking. But at this price you can buy a small grow tent with lights.

Thanks op. I'd love to see a comparable deal to the 24 pod model so I'll wait a bit.

What does this have in the way of house cat defenses? Lasers? Ultrasonic deterrent? Dog bark recording?

No. I looked into this awhile ago and hops grow much longer than this can support for any reasonable harvest of them.

No. I brew too and grow hops. I recommend just buying pellets. Harvesting hops is a pain in the ass.

I recently got for Christmas the Aerogarden basic, If i did not lived in an apartment I just would try to buy the lights and make my own without caring on the mess or design. I would get this one if it was the same height of the farm 24XL this one looks like a skyscrapper. I have not seen the 24Xl lower than $600 maybe I am wrong.

Bought the aerogarden harvest off woot! Via slickdeals and wound up returning it. The thing needs to be on pretty much all day every day and it insanely bright it attracts flies to it.

Yes, that's how these systems grow stuff faster: more light (energy) and great access to water and food. Serious systems will actually shorten the day/night cycle so the plant will grow faster yet, behaving as if more days have passed.
