Buying a laptop that might not come with factory warranty - that's foolish.
1100 dollars for a laptop with a 3060 is the best move imo. The desktop variant (which will be a bit faster) has a MSRP of 300 dollars now, but with tariffs its going to be 400+ easily. That's assuming you can even get your hands on one.
For 1100, you get an entire computer. Also folks who wants a gaming laptop are in a completely different market than those who want a desktop.
I've never had issues with pre-ordering from BB before.

Looking through the TV/Movie category is like being at the most depressing yard sale ever. Such a weird mix of exercise DVDs, random TV seasons, self help stuff, and lots of used "how to be better at sex" DVDs. There's even a bunch of stuff on VHS.
The odd thing is it's all insanely overpriced and there's so much of it. I'd think that at this point they'd just get rid of everything for dirt cheap just to clear the warehouse space that all this stuff is occupying.
There were definitely more options before but they didn't give discounts. A WD blue 500gb for around $45 before discount but no discount given when beginning checkout.
Haven't 12TB or 14TB drives been at $190 or so recently?
I have been keeping my eye on these HDD deals but haven't seen any high quality 5TB+ 7200rpm deals for daily use at this price point. But am definitely going to look again. Thanks!

Its a very wrong assumption. Amazon is always making money via commissions and storage fees - its a vendor who is actually loosing money. Sorry for being rude, you can google it.
I, as a consumer, buying a product sold through any and all outlets the manufacture of that product can possibly push on the consumer, ONLY look for price. Ever.
If the goods require 'support' that is different, and value is attached as such. Do not attach 'feelings' to the cut throat business of peddling wares.
Where is "Save 20% at checkout" visible on the page? I'm not seeing that, only the Amazon Warehouse savings when something is actually in-cart at checkout.
Oh, I see, despite the same item, I have to go through the Deal link to make it visible.

It's a crapshoot on these customer returns. My experience has been that the quality of these items has gotten worse during the pandemic.
The first few times I ordered from Amazon Warehouse there were no issues, but the last two times, I've received broken items with missing parts.
Agreed. Everything is on hyper schedule, 2 out of my last 3 items had problems one was damaged and the other was the wrong model. Cost me way more in time on the returns than the savings...

At one point I was able to use the drop down menu to see "New Arrivals" but at one point there was a screen flash and it's now disappeared and I cannot retrieve that function.
Does anyone know how to use that function to see the new arrivals to the Warehouse

Thanks!!!
My last 2 orders from Amazon Warehouse went awry so I'm deterred from ordering warehouse products, even at 20% off.
One order I was delivered a really poorly packaged box, not even taped shut and of course it was empty with no product in it when I received it. Second product was a Razer mouse and they apparently shipped it with tracking code and all. Delivery date passed and got a weird notification that "Product was undedliverable, returning to factory, you'll be refunded 3 days after product returns to factory" which was an Amazon issue I never seen before. I had to complain immediately to get my refund ASAP. So I'm a bit scarred from Warehouse deals.
Also if you're looking for unbranded products that several different chinese-based manufacturers offer, the prices with 20% off are usually not as great of a deal as looking for similar products new. I had ordered a desk mount for a camera from warehouse bc 20% sounded nice, I later did a search for similar products and many that came up were actually cheaper "new" than used - like new on the Warehouse Limited Time deals

Had this same issue recently. Stuff shipped via amazon, too, so it's not like they can blame UPS or the postal service. It is what it is, I guess.
Been looking for a commercial grade meat grinder. Grabbed a 1HP American Eagle for around $380 after tax. Was just about ready to pull the trigger on a Cabelas Carnivore for @ $530 so I'm happy. The new model Cabelas have been getting mixed reviews as well so I thing this should be a step up.

I've probably ordered 100 things, so as they start arriving, it will be a fun test to see what is destroyed or not... I guess we all cope with covid in our own way.
I also wish there was some way to HIDE ALL THE GOD-FORSAKEN CAKE AND CUPCAKE TOPPERS why are there so many of these things. Nobody wants stripper-pole 40th birthday cupcake toppers! Why did somebody make these?
