I missed out on an earlier deal with an i5 and 1660 Super for around $600. I'm mainly looking for a newer pre-built to replace my old Dell Inspiron 3847 (i5-4460, upgraded with a 1050 Ti) since I don't really have the dedication to build my own system. (And also like others have said, getting GPUs right now is a silly venture.) I'd considered those Dell G Series PCs, but I'd prefer a more normal looking case, if you know what I mean. I don't much care for all the glowing, multicolored cases. Seems like something like this is the optimal choice, though I guess I'll have to wait and hope for something to again fall into the $600 range.
Found a similar PC in Costco and the Costco price is 230 USD higher. This can not be a bad deal if it beats Costco like this.
Costco HP Omen 25L has a better SSD and DDR but also has a worse graphic card, HDD, and no DVD drive.

I had tried a similar XPS from Costco when it was 300 USD off of 1299, last month. Super fast, but the temperatures were unacceptable hot around 80 deg C. Returned it, but I am pessimistic on a system with a single back fan and a stock Intel CPU fan. If you get it, I recommend Open Hardware Monitor to track temperatures. I did like its efficient form and included CD writer, almost to the point that I thought about upgrading CPU fan, but decided against it when I saw the trouble with both the CPU fan, and also upgrading the rest of the fans.
Decent but not a great...or even good deal. 2TB HDD is slow and 16gb is pretty bottom of the barrel for todays standards. The GPU is probably the only good thing about it. Overall I don't think its worth the price. For around that price or a little more you can build something much better.
Do all Dells come with proprietary power supply connectors? Does this one?
They are using 12V only PSU in the XPS line, not sure about the others, but probably. There are not any 3rd party 12V only PSU on the market yet, so you would need to find an OEM PSU to replace it.
