I have this. It's nice, except that after getting the iPhone 12 Pro Max, it no longer charges. i think due to the extreme large phone size, possibly the Qi charger doesn't line up with the phone anymore.

You may have tried it, and it might not be the best solution, but what if you put the phone in the charger upside down?

Have one of these in each vehicle. Beware that there is a weak spot on the back where it connects to the ball mount. It's held on internally by a single tiny screw which is screwed into the plastic. Two of mine have come off, my guess is the vibrations loosened the plastic hole. It was easy to glue back on so I'm not sure why they didn't just do that in the first place.

They do. In a pinch, you can always buy one with a magnet connection (available all over Amazon) and also buy this one. The ball joint in the back is interchangeable so you can put this charger on the ball joint for the CD mount.
