You are right, but RDR2 is at its lowest for Stadia... and this is the 1st time Valkyria went on sale. Of course, this isn't comparable to much better deals on other platforms.

Yep. RDR2 normal price has settled around $30. Anyone that pays more than that is the definition of a reverse Slick Deal.
Especially for what basically is a rental.

I thought that if you buy a game, you get to keep/play it even if you don't subscribe to Pro. Is that not correct?

Correct. Stadia is free. Pro is for 4K , surround sound and deals with free games. If you buy a game in discount with pro you still get to keep forever even if you go to the free version.

I own Borderlands 3 even though I'm on the free plan.
Of course I paid 99 cents for it.
