This is completely wrong. Any LOCA/UV glue based tempered glass screen protector will work flawlessly with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Ive literally installed like 10 between the multiple Samsung devices I have or friends had, all aliexpress $3-4 ones. The issue with the sensor is ONLY if you use the old school pre-applied glue based ones, some have circles to try and make it work better, but they are ugly and you should just avoid those.

The only reason to buy whitestone or Amfilm or other premium ones is they come with good instructions and installation jigs that make it easier to do. What thats worth to you is for you to decide, but the actual LOCA glue vials come from the same factories and glass are isnt special at all, the premium ones just have a better install setup

Personally I will be buying this, I wouldnt buy it at MSRP, but the S21U tempered glass LOCA/UV is $17:

So why did I spend $17 when the Chinese ones are $4 that also work flawlessly? Because an expedited delivery to get them here when my phone arrives (27th) would raise the price to $11+, and value the jig $5ish to make life easier, so this is worth it to me.

$60-80 whitestone is a scam, and the people that run that company astroturf on reddit and other forums to promote it. Yes its a very nice jig, better than AMfilm, but the end result if done properly is no better than a $4 chinese one, or this AMfilms.

I'm not getting any of the ultra codes to work

edit: got the film to work but not the tempered glass

second edit: the codes started working for the glass. got it for $18 including tax. amazing deal, thanks for sharing.

I am using their tempered glass protector on my S10. I have to say that the glass makes it less responsive. Sometimes it cannot sense my touch when laying on the table. Also, the size of the protector is a little short on the edges.

Because some people want the feel of glass but don't want to deal with the liquid glue and UV curing process. They just want to stick it down and be done.

Wonder what makes it "not fingerprint compatible" ?
S21 5G is flat screen, unless there's only adhesive around the edges only, but the temper glass would suck if that's the case.

It did for the S20 Plus, so I expect it will for the S21 Ultra.
