The Bugatti is a better set in my opinion, I have both.

I would go with the Sian, However, bugatti is typically cheaper. The Sian looks better and the box and the presentation is just amazing. All pictures are painted on where as bugatti still used stickers. The Sian wheels also looks higher class. The bugatti's top is different color from the body and it makes it look a bit odd looking from certain angles. The thing going for the bugatti is that it came out earlier so will be discontinued earlier than Sian, so more time for appreciation

my 10 years old just finished this (started on Christmas) and it looks awesome.
Having said that, I didn't notice a quality issue and wish there are front windows and actual headlamps.

If I'm going to fork out $300 for a model version of a vehicle, I'd expect it to be metal diecasts.
You get disappointed a lot, huh? 😂

This car is nearly 2 ft long and has more than 3,000 pieces. It's a great set. Both the Bugatti and Sián use different types of plastic which end up being slightly different shades of blue and green, respectively.

I have both and loved building each one for different reasons. You'll enjoy then, too, if you appreciate the Technic lines d love cars.

Would you mind explaining why it's better? (I could have sworn I saw a review of the Lambo that said it had better suspension, etc.)?

I see them pop up once in a while, are they trustworthy?
Yes. Trustworthy. You get the European boxes (no piece count on the front). I ordered this set from them last year and it came in a nice box that had reinforcements on two sides. I have also ordered the Land Rover which came wrapped in bubble wrap, the Disney castle in a nice padded box and other sets. Wait for the sales and remember your cash back sites.

I bought my first set from Zavvi a few weeks ago, the Bugatti, and shipping wise they were nearly as fast as Amazon Prime which is amazing since it's international shipping. The LEGO box was in perfect condition too.

So color me impressed.

I ordered a Disney castle from Zavvi and it wasn't even shipped in a separate box. Just wrapped in black plastic wrap and box was smashed and damaged. It's fine if you're going to build the set, but collectors may be disappointed.

I've ordered many times from Zavvi with no issue. My question however, is how can they offer these huge discounts and free international shipping to the US? We never see these kinds of discounts stateside on Technic sets.

I think it's more or less because of savings with currency conversion and local msrp (which I assume is partially determined by consume price index)

I do not understand why the only Lambo they have is this 63-unit footnote.

They only made 63 of these and they went straight into billionaires private collections. Even among Lambo owners, they will probably never see one of these nor even be offered the opportunity to buy one.

Why not make a Countach or Miura? You know, the famous ones.
Or a Diablo, Murci, or Aventador? The cars that get driven every day.

Oh and by the way, FKP 37 is the initials and birth year of some Volkswagen exec.
This car follows in the great tradition of...sucking up to executives at multinational conglomerates.

I ordered Lego 51515 from Zavvi twice, both were canceled due to they can't ship to my address, which is in CA. The same thing happened to iwoot. Anyone has the same issue? Why they allow me to place the order in the first place. Waste of time!

If you mean the different shades of lime, I don't believe so. I bought this set this month from a Lego store and it still has the same mismatch of green shades reported when the set first came out.
I read on another forum the quality issues are fixed, but you might have gotten an old stock box? It might take months for old stock with the issue to clear out. I'm genuinely curious, what was the datecode on the box tape?
