Nice deal. very tempting.
just Not prime, third party seller. A bit worried about return if anything goes wrong.

Definitely not true. Even 98% positive is a pretty bad seller rating on Amazon, since most people who have an unpleasant experience are not able to leave bad reviews. This seller has below 90%.

According to the reviews this seller regularly doesn't fulfill their orders and frequently sends incorrect products by accident. There are innocent mistakes, and there are "mistakes" that are part of a business plan involving contempt for other people.

Vague feelings of dislike for people in other countries isn't a very good reason to excuse fraudsters in the US.

Front page material. Outstanding find and a really nice first post. 20+ % better than all time low. $150 at Home Depot right now. Keep them coming.

First post. First rep.

I own this saw. Fun fact, the tilt mechanism will not survive a 20 foot fall off a roof. I know this now. I'm glad you just posted its replacement. Smilie

Thanks! Picked one up to upgrade from my cheapie skil jigsaw. I've borrowed my dad's high end Milwaukee several times and there IS a difference in entry level vs top end jigsaws. I feel like it's a tool that really needs some decent heft and power to work well.

Awesome! Thank you! I've been waiting for the two tool deal including the jigsaw and the palm router for around $200 for a long time now. But at this price, I have to bite on the jigsaw and hope for a router deal in the future. Thanks again so much!

Edit: ah, I just realized that this is the corded version. It's still an amazing deal but I'm trying to go battery for all hand power tools on my shop... The order is placed but I'm going to have to sleep on the decision. My current jigsaw is a beat to hell skil from a yard sale and I go to the bandsaw or scroll saw for everything because it's a pain to use it. This would be a sure upgrade but I would be replacing it once the jigsaw+router deal pops again. I suppose the question is: what's the resale value on this corded version...?

New to woodworking, and building my collection of tools. Was going to get the Bauer from Harbor Freight, but I'll go ahead and get this.

Thanks OP! Repped.

I provide a data point for DeWalt 7amp corded router. I picked up a good condition used locally for $50. Thus I assume, resale value of this should be above 50.

This appears to be sold by Junipers' which has only an 87% positive feedback rate on Amazon. I'm scared if it's under 95% so that's a big red flag to me. Amazing price though.

Thank you. In this case, I'll be effectively 'renting' this tool for $20-$40, depending on market fluctuation and difference between our respective areas, until I can grab the battery jigsaw+router deal for ~$200.

This seems an extremely fair scenario! Thanks again!

Kind of odd complaints though if you go through them. Yarn problems. Color not what I wanted. Shipping not fast enough. Broken lanterns. Seems harder to screw up a new dewalt tool and if the shipping is slow it's still a great price at the end of the day.

Seems potentially worth the "risk" with amazon and your credit card company as a backstop for an unlikely event.

It's Amazon, not tooltopia...

Generally when such a high % are negative that's a sign some stuff is way off. For example they say they charge between 15 and 35% for returns that 35% is a crazy number.
