My first post ... I hope I get it right. Lowe's has the Dewalt portable propane heater on clearance. The web site shows $179. I went to brickseek to check other stores around me, and it showed $107.40 at my store, even though the web showed $179 with the pick up today option at the same store. I went to my local store, and they had four in stock, and all were marked down from $179 to $107. I have never used this heater before. I was in the market for a portable heater, and I found this deal, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Amazon has the same heater for $209.99.

Edit: I guess I could have mentioned it uses a 20V MAX battery (not included) to provide a blower, LED light, and USB charging ports. It also has dual 1 lb tank capacity.

Nice find. Just wished my area had it for that price. I'll keep an eye out for markdowns. Thanks!

Does the brickseek link in the original post not take you to it? That was my intent. I may have done it incorrectly.

I think these are just rebranded Mr. Heater Buddy Heaters, other than it uses a Dewalt battery. Bit overpriced from the start. Not bad at $107 but you can get the Mr. Heater Big Buddy for $99 and it goes up to 18k BTU.

I have a Big Buddy. Works good but the fan is basically worthless. Not sure how good it is on the Dewalt. Might be better with the 20v battery.

When I opened the post originally. I did not see any links. I also didn't see all the details written in the title. Weird.

This would be a SD *IF* it included the 20V battery, but since it doesnt, and one would have to spend ~$50+ for the battery, its not that great a deal, especially compared to a "standard" BigBuddy price.

Not going to TD it, for those who already have the Dewalt battery, and want a heater.

Good deal if you can get one.
I'll tell you why, I disagree with previous reviewer and do find the fan helps spread the heat.
Meanwhile, Mr. Heater no longer includes the fan in their units. If you google or youtube, lots of rants (and rightful so about it).

The dewault one includes fan and LED bar which is a nice touch.
"Powerful LED light bar and integrated high-velocity fan"

OOS near me in DFW. Does look like a modded Buddy heater. I have one without the fan, works great for tent camping. However, these lpg heaters do generate humidity so you will have condensation buildup on the inside of your fly. I generally use them to warm up before I go to bed, and then in the morning to take the edge off before I roll out of the sleeping bag. It stays off while I sleep.
