Is this a good deal? I'm trying to find a drill + impact driver kit for first time homeowner, what are some good recommendations? Missed out the Black Friday deals, trying to find what's available now

He changed his post. Had some super shady looking "coupon" site in it before.

https://www.cpooutlets.com/dewalt...791p1.html you can add the 887 impact as free tool if you just want a 2 tool set

and no ..this is not a deal. it's pretty much the new normal price and mediocre tools imo. dewalts cheapest brushless combo made just to capitalize on the "brushless" term imo.

Thank you, I guess the one you linked is better because it's XR? Although only 1 5Ah battery as opposed to 2x 1.3Ah? I'm also eyeing Milwaukee's M12 FUEL, heard it's just as powerful as 18V, but more portable

The DeWalt 1.3 and 1.5 batteries are junk. id much rather have a single 5 amp hour than 2 of those. You want at least the two amp hour. The M12 fuels would likely do you fine but I wouldn't believe anyone saying they're as powerful as the DeWalt XRs or m18
