Better deal on these same headphones here in this comment from mrthrify, from an authorized retailer FYI.

The XM4, which is a current SD, has reinforced the headband in this area to mitigate the issue - would recommend spending the few extra bucks on that.
Otherwise great headphones, best bass response compared to Bose QCs or Bose 700s.
