My favorite site for this kind of info is Notebookcheck. What you can do is search the processor that is inside of your phone (or the phone you want to buy) and then it shows a collection of benchmarks for that processor, and that will include your phone, or the phone you want to buy. It can get kinda tricky if you are looking at older phones because after a while the benchmarks get updated to newer versions and you will not be able to compare across generations, but still it's better than nothing.

For example the Galaxy S9 has the Snapdragon 845, here is the Notebookcheck page for that processor. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Qua...446.0.html

And the newest processor that Notebookcheck has is the Snapdragon 865, here is that one https://www.notebookcheck.net/Qua...194.0.html

Here is the Snapdragon 690 in the Nord N10 https://www.notebookcheck.net/Qua...783.0.html

The Snapdragon 690 inside this phone is roughly the same performance as your Galaxy S9, but the Snapdragon 690 has a slower GPU, roughly half the speed as your S9

Maybe it's not as much of a concern at this price point, but OnePlus has gone on the record that this phone will never be updated beyond 2020's Android 11 (it ships with 2019's Android 10) and that all support (even bug fixes) will be dropped after 2022. Just a heads-up.

I've had this phone for 5 days now. I had a One Plus 6 before I got this. It does have pretty low specs which makes sense for a budget phone but it still gets the job done. I can game just fine and iPhone users don't complain about how blurry my pictures are anymore. There was a better deal in my opinion earlier this month where you could get it 10% off with a free pair of one plus buds which I'm loving so far. Basically one plus version of air pods.

Hmm... I would think oneplus 6 be better than this even with its age. Oled vs lcd. Also flagship processor.

It's just a wee faster than my Moto G Power 2020. I'm not really impressed as I'm pretty sure I read somewhere saying that the 765G and the 690 are very similar in performance.

Really the only big limitation is the OS support. Android 12 comes out later this year, and the Nord will never get it according to OnePlus. Probably why it is such a cheap 5g phone.

Only recent examples I can give you are the Asus Zenfone 5Q and the LeEco S3. Both of those phones came out to a lot of fanfare. Both because of price. But after like 1 year they were pretty crap because the OS support updates were never there.

Interesting, I used Honey and that's the code it ended up showing in checkout. It didn't appear to apply any of the codes at first but once I went further in checkout, one did apply for 10% off. Maybe it was SURPRISE10 that then converted to a one time code.
