There's nothing wrong with a 27" 1080p display for gaming. The lower resolution means you don't need the latest and greatest graphics card to drive it, and the larger size makes gaming more immersive. My kids all run this size/res and they absolutely love them.

Wonder how it compares to this one. Appear to me to be about the same except for inputs and a slightly different refresh rate.

I figured if looking for a cheap monitor, the cheaper the better. Then again the LG includes an HDMI cable.

I'm thinking about buying one of each and return the one I don't like.

It doesn't work with Nintendo Switch while my Asus monitor does. Don't know I got a bad monitor.
