For those who have not spent $10 to recycle this month, OD is offering 100% back in rewards on select AA/AAA batteries this week.

Bonus Rewards: 100% back in Rewards on Duracell Coppertop AA/AAA 16-PK and AA 24-PK Batteries: Valid in store and at officedepot.com from 1/24/21 to 1/30/21 11:59 PM ET or while supplies last, whichever occurs first. Rewards are limited to 2 items per member. This offer cannot be combined with other Bonus Rewards offers on the same or similar products and services.

16 Pack AA = https://www.officedepot.com/a/pro...ries-Pack/
16 Pack AAA = https://www.officedepot.com/a/pro...ries-Pack/

24 Pack AA = https://www.officedepot.com/a/pro...ries-Pack/
24 Pack AAA = https://www.officedepot.com/a/pro...ries-Pack/

There is a 20% off coupon (65714686) which may reduce the OOP expense, but still keep the purchase over $10 for recycling.

There are price match opportunities at Walmart and Amazon to help lower the out of pocket amount. YMMV on this working through chat, but PM in store shouldn't be an issue.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Duracell sucks for long term use (low consumption electronics). They always leak and damage my stuff...

Oh I didn't but the guy got pushy about it-
like I couldn't make a purchase without giving him my phone number and email. That's not good for business.

Literally never happened to me with a duracell or Enrgizer.
If I'm not gonna use something at all for several months, I take out the batteries.

Whenever I'm asked at register for my phone number or email, I always smile brightly and offer a chipper "Oh, no thank you!". Never had a problem.

Which was the first thing I said- "no thank you" but again he was pushy.. he ended up inputting a generic phone number I made my purchase and left. The fact that I had to do all that just to buy something is a bit ridiculous plus you lose sale that way. Bad for business.

That would have annoyed me as well.
