There is a 20% off coupon (65714686) which may reduce the OOP expense, but still keep the purchase over $10 for recycling.
There are price match opportunities at Walmart and Amazon to help lower the out of pocket amount. YMMV on this working through chat, but PM in store shouldn't be an issue.

you know, you can say no....
Oh I didn't but the guy got pushy about it-
like I couldn't make a purchase without giving him my phone number and email. That's not good for business.
And when I said Nevermind I'll go somewhere else, he was like I'll just make up a generic number...
oh. that's bad

Any who- just wanted the Slickdeal Community to know their tactics. Maybe not all stores but the one I went to for sure here in Las Vegas
If I'm not gonna use something at all for several months, I take out the batteries.
Which was the first thing I said- "no thank you" but again he was pushy.. he ended up inputting a generic phone number I made my purchase and left. The fact that I had to do all that just to buy something is a bit ridiculous plus you lose sale that way. Bad for business.
