Family and I did the Star Wars 1,000 piece puzzle over Thanksgiving. We're total amateurs, but I highly recommend it.

I've bought a bunch of these Buffalo Star Wars puzzles and they are all great quality and a decent challenge. Too bad I already have 3 1000 piece and 1 2000 piece puzzles waiting to be built still Wink

I can't stop buying these. I've got 16 of them on my gameroom wall, and another 2000 piece waiting to be done. I bought a mitre saw (a frontpage slickdeal) to help with all the framing. I have a puzzle problem.

There is the puzzle glue and there are adhesive panels you can use. I've used modge podge to glue it together. Then try to find an exact size frame. For many you won't be able to find the exact size, so you might have to mount it on cardboard or some sort of back, and then put that whole thing in the frame. Hope this makes sense. Love doing and hanging puzzles!

Some reviews talk about missing or extra pieces, are those a concern or is that from people messing up / losing pieces? I've mounted a number of puzzles, so the question is more about Buffalo vs other puzzle brands.

Thank you and I did read that. My question remains have any here actually experienced the issues mentioned in the reviews.

Also, the "missing piece" form, if you can actually get it to appear, doesn't actually result in missing pieces sent. They send you a replacement puzzle, with the caveat "Please note that we are not able to replace missing individual pieces, and there is no guarantee that the pieces from a replacement puzzle will fit into the original."

For those curious about frames (as I was) the 26.75" x 19.75" obviously isn't a standard frame size from what I could tell, however I did find a $15 poster frame available in 20" x 28" from Michaels, which should be close enough with maybe a small black under boarder on the top & bottom:

Either that or you'd have to custom build something
