Replacement battery for your Dyson V7™ cordless vacuum
Lol. It's probably the COVID effect. Everything is out of stock. I've been trying to find an element for an oven. Out of stock everywhere. A few months ago, you couldn't find audio/video receiver.
One problem I could see with people killing batteries is using "max" power all the time. I've been vacuuming my entire home with my dyson on normal power mode for a year. I have zero battery issues.
Btw...here's an IN STOCK $40 battery with 5 star reviews...

We will never know if it is due to covid or not.
I have a Tineco A11 which I love. The battery is separate and costs $80.00... and they are in stock.
With the Tineco A11 it has a always on switch and LED lights that I though was just for show but it actually shows the small partials that I can not see with the light on. Right now, I think Tineco makes a better product. But they are both good. The A11 is more like the Dyson V8 in power. And I almost always use the highest suction setting (there are three). I paid $180 in November.

I paid this crazy low price but it did not come with a soft roller for hard wood floors....
About 6 weeks ago I got an email from Tineco stating if I do a positive review with a certain hashtag name they will give me a soft roller. I got my soft roller about two weeks ago (a $80 value).
Here is a really good article that compares the V8 to the A11. (It puts the A11 on top)

My floors are tile and vinyl planks and I use the dyson soft roller almost exclusively. Love it! A soft roller on hard floors is not even an option in my experience. I can literally see dust being removed with it. Not so with a regular roller.
Went to a store where it said they had 3 in stock on brickseek. They still had one in the box and one that was a display item and was indeed at $149 on clearance. Thanks OP!

After a year of use my v7 is still going strong. Either way, replacement batteries are waaaaay cheaper than $140. Lol. You got hosed.
Anyhow, it appears Dyson vacuums have gone up $200 since November: https://slickdeals.net/f/14557001-refurbished-dyson-v10-motorhead-absolute-cordless-vacuum-cleaner-249-99-more-fs?v=1&src=Site
I guess it was refurbished. I bought one and it was SO MUCH BETTER than my 4-year-old V8 and like new (sold direct by Dyson IIRC).
Anyhow, since that deal isn't around, this one makes sense if you need a stick vacuum right now.
Seems alot of people have battery issues that it is currently out of stock.

Don't get me wrong, Dyson makes amazing products.
