Not works on my semi transparent tempered glass Desk.
Mx mouse works without issue.

The differences is mx has different sensor than this good $20 BT mouse.

I did quick experiment by putting a dark plastic underneath tempered glass and work perfectly.

My tempered glass has light blue tinted that mostly transparent...

Having use w/o mousepad for years and happy😁
I mainly use on glass kitchen table, so it depends on type of glass Smilie

It is best for $20 bucks for size and features plus 3 years of warranty if you purchased on Costco visa card Smilie

Just picked up this mouse from Costco today. So far, I have to say, I'm impressed. I work from home with my laptop and my PC and switch between them constantly. I'm a little behind on tech so yesterday, I was either using two separate mice or going from mouse to touchpad constantly. The ability to connect both computers to one mouse is amazing.

Additionally, I did not know about Logitech Flow before!!! This is a game changer for me. It connects both computers through the Logitech Options program and enables pretty smooth transitions from my laptop to my PC like it was just an extended screen. Amazing!

So I just picked up this today from my local Costco and like it a lot but do miss the silent buttons from my M330. Got so used to them but the M330 is smaller compared to this which wasn't the best fit for my palm...Wish Logitech would release this mouse with silent buttons.

I purchased this mouse last time it was on sale for 20. I do like the mouse overall. But they definitely need a better sensor in this. They don't even tell you how high the DPI goes and it's because its only an 800 - 1000 dpi sensor (most likely 1000).

The issue with this is that it's not my primary mouse on certain computers so I can't simply go into the windows mouse settings and ram up sensitivity without messing up my other mouse on each computer.

If only this was silent like the M590, it would be perfect! I REALLY like my M590.

Can anyone compare the sound of clicks between the two? It really does make a difference in office and night use. Can stealthily multi-task during virtual calls as well and no one suspects a thing, lol.
Stick with the M590, nothing compares. The click will drive you up the wall.

Have you tried the M590?

Glass kitchen table should work due to less transparency.
It is a good mouse compared with $10-$15 unbranded mouse

Logitech support is great. I just got a new mx keyboard replacement . The escape key pop-ing out. They did not ask to ship the keyboard back
The best keyboard for wfh. I used to have mech keyboard ( original and clone). Settle with mx due to portability and conforms.....

My main wfh is mx3 , and mx2s. Love mx3 scroller. The best ever have haha...
Getting another mx3 if can not resist.... persistent is futile (borg)

A very important spec is missing here, this wireless mouse can connect with BOTH Bluetooth AND with the provided Logitech USB receiver.
I have this mouse and I like it a lot. I bought it at my local Costco store when it was on sale for $20 plus sales tax, check your local store and you may avoid paying the S&H.
I use the Bluetooth connection as it frees an important USB slot on my laptop.
One disadvantage doing this is that when I disconnect my WiFi connection to disable my Internet it also disconnects my Bluetooth, so I cannot use this mouse, I am then forced to use my laptop's touchpad.
Very good and recommended mouse, get it at this bargain $20 price.
PS: The only disadvantage this mouse has is that the #3 button (closest to your wrist) that controls the 3-PC connections is right next to the middle Back button, I sometimes press this button accidentally.
Logitech should have been a lot smarter and placed this 3-PC controlling button at the bottom of the mouse, away for being pushed erroneously. Logitech is surely dumb.

Umm, you should edit your original comment then, it makes it seem like there is an issue with bluetooth/wifi with this mouse, when it is you that enabled airplane mode. Of course airplane mode will disconnect all wireless connectivity, that is what airplane mode does.
Slickdeals has a huge problem with the comment upvote system.

The comment by JohnUSA full of misinformation, yet it's the highest upvoted comment. Why/how is this happening?

It's shown as the featured/helpful comment, and people think the information is correct, then thumbs it up. The issue here is the information is false.

Can't even downvote or report the comment on the mobile app, only upvote or reply.

What's the misinformation?

First part: the user can definitely disable wifi AND keep bluetooth on, allowing them to continue using the mouse via bluetooth. There are at least two replying comments informing said user of this. Said user found out they were wrong, replied, but as we can see, hasn't edited their original comment yet. So their misinformed comment is still featured at the top (#1), with at least 16 thumbs up currently.

The second part of their post: said user states that Logitech must "surely be dumb" for button the device switching button at the top of the mouse. I attached an annotated image of the mouse, and as you can see, the buttons are large and well separated imo.

It's convenient to not have to toggle a switch on the bottom of the mouse to switch devices. No, I'm not a shill for Logitech.

So what's wrong here? In summary, someone who is misinformed:
Part 1: Appears to not know the difference between airplane mode, and individual wifi and bluetooth toggles. Then types the misinformation into a comment, which then gets upvoted into a featured comment by misinformed people thinking said misinformation it's helpful.

Part 2: Has an opinion which imo hasn't been thought out enough. Opinions are fine, but said opinion was lumped in with misinformation, getting upvoted, then being a featured comment, and that's the first thing someone sees upon opening the deal.

Relying on misinformed users to go back and edit their comments is not ideal.

This is dangerous behavior @Slickdeals. I've been on SD since like 2009 or whatever, and well, this feature is just bad.

I hope someone at Slickdeals is listening, because this exact issue seems to happen on enough threads that I'm now typing this essay up.

PS: I have to log in to the desktop site to report a comment since it's not available on mobile. I get that it's hard to keep desktop and mobile in feature parity, but not being able to at least "undo" a misinformed comment on mobile either by downvoting or reporting? Come on team.

thanks.

Saw this at Sam's Club for $25.

I've been using this for couple years now, and it's comfortable and allowed me to switch between 3 systems just by press of a button (don't have to pick it up and press the little round button on the bottom).

Anyone know if the scroll wheel can click left and right in addition to scrolling?
