At Ikea you can buy the linmon white tabletop for $9 and add the 4 black legs at $4 each, for a total of $25. Just as good imo.

Just got this. It didn't come with instructions but i was able to figure it out. The only thing is the legs while sturdy they're not like super secure to the wood. So if you drag it or like push it hard the legs might bent or like detach a bit from the wood. So build it and don't move it too much. After all it's a $40

I think it should be sturdy and thick enough for that . Only complaint I had about this table is When I type on my iMac Keyboard my laptop screen on side of it would shake a bit . My 27" iMac screen doesn't shake though .
