Great VPN. They recently released a statement with screenshots from websites that rate VPNs for money, and basically said they are no longer playing that game. That they would rather invest that money in the platform (because some of the sites were complaining that they could not make enough commission based on their sale prices).

Take that with a grain of salt or not, but if you don't find them on the rating sites for "top VPNs of 2020, 2021, 2022 etc., I can tell you that it's not because they are not worth it.

Before the pandemic I would have to travel to about 9-12 countries per year, and Windscribe never let me down. Easy interface, quick and stable connection, and also no logs being kept.

I was lucky to get a lifetime a few years ago, and they have been getting better and better. Since that's not being offered anymore, this is a great deal imho.

I had this for 3 years and loved it but it expired and was more expensive than Nord so i signed up for Nord. Nord works fine but I really liked the super easy interface of windscribe.

It's decent, tier 2 vpn. I would recommend using tier 1 vpns though for cheaper prices and faster speeds. Google vpn tier list

FWIW Windscribe Support mentioned in their subreddit that sharing with family members is fine and won't be flagged as abuse. That may not align with their official T&C's but I imagine you'd be fine so long as it's not excessive.
