This is actually one of the better units that is designed well. 30 shots with a firm grip with no need for batteries. I ordered 5x, but I'd order more but don't have enough storage space and toxic female around trying to throw away anything related to toys and games.
This is a good blaster for $30. Just don't be fooled by the "regular price-$70"
This blaster came out 4 years ago and it retailed for $45. A pet peeve of mine is when sales have phony "original" prices to make the sale look better.
I believe I started manual cocking around age 13 or 14...

Some of these rival shotguns are difficult to find And with this labeled clearance - Nerf is likely moving towards the orange sidewinder curve edition blasters.

Seriously, tell that female toys & games are life with kids, period.
Just FYI, per the Walmart 1-star reviews, this may come in a plain brown box, not Nerf retail packaging. Also one review says the blaster they received didn't have the white stripes as shown on the product page. Another review with a picture shows a blaster without stripes as well. Most of the reviews are from 2 years ago, but one is from this past Christmas season.

Reviewers on Amazon mentioned it being okay for their 11-12 year olds, a ten year old, and an 8-year-old boy.
