Anyone know how long motor oil is good for in storage without opening?

There is no definite time for how long synthetic lubricants should last before expiring. For some manufacturers of synthetic oil such as Mobil, their synthetic oil should last for five years.

Why? It's super easy to change and you get the same or better care of your vehicle. There is absolutely no reason to get it changed professionally unless you don't have the time and/or don't have or want to acquire the knowledge of how to do it.
Hmm. You sound pretty naive with that statement. Changing your own oil gives you freedom to use the oil of choice, knowledge you did the job right, and gives a chance to observe other parts of the engine for anything else that might be an issue, loose, or worn out. No offense, but you probably should pay someone to change your oil based on your statement
Don't be cheap, pay a professional to do your laundry lol
