A one-year subscription costs $99. The offer is to spend $99+ and get $99 back, so it's a free one-year subscription.

Get a one-time $99 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single subscription-based purchase of $99+ online at The Motley Fool or at fool.com/amex [fool.com] by 5/8/2021. See terms.

Quote :
Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. American Express Prepaid Cards, Corporate Cards and American Express Cards issued outside the United States are not eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid only on US website or at Fool.com/amex. Valid only on purchases made in US dollars. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. The enrolled Card account must not be cancelled or past due to receive statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 5/8/2021, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. The Motley Fool Terms and Conditions currently provide that unless you notify The Motley Fool that you want to cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription or membership fee will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example, monthly, or annually). This means that The Motley Fool will collect the then-applicable membership or subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card The Motley Fool has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. Send an email to [email protected] after you have signed up requesting opt-out for the auto renewal. After I did that, they sent me an email that said: "we have disabled the auto-renewal feature"

If you search online - you will find 2-year packages to StockAdvisor or Rule-breakers for only $98 (one-year for $59)

Rule Breakers (1-Year) for $99:

TURN OFF AUTO-RENEWAL
All Motley Fool premium subscriptions are set to automatically renew for your convenience, and to ensure uninterrupted access to your premium service's investing guidance. If you would like to turn off the automatic renewal feature, we can assist.

To help with your request, please email us at [email protected], or by filling out the online Contact Customer Service form.

[b]For those curious how Motley Fool's stock picks are performing I setup a pie (portfolio) on M1Finance with 41 of the most recent suggested stocks from Tom and David. As long as I see reps coming from this thread so I know people are still using it I will update this link every Thursday to show the new recommendations.
https://m1.finance/2M-jgR32cPTC [Final update was on 04/08 due to apparent lack of interest].
M1finance gives you free trades and fractional shares which means you can transfer xxx dollars a week or 2 weeks and it will adjust it based on your percentages.
Advantage of fractional shares is explained well here: https://www.fool.com/investing/ho...al-shares/

For the people complaining about to much spam before you go crazy and cancel your account, go into your account settings and uncheck what you don't want. I have everything unchecked but the buy/sell alerts in stock advisor. https://www.fool.com/account/comm...-settings/

I just signed up. The first thing they do is try to sell you upgraded services for anywhere from $200-$14,000. The "premium" service we get is nearly useless. The last stock picks article is from December 28.
Swagbucks has 7500SB for the $99 yearly subscription as well, should be stackable for a nice MM.
Market correction coming soon for GameStop.

Has anyone not received the order confirmation and access emails from MF yet ?
My order went thru and I got the AMEX email as well but no emails from MF so far
(yes, checked my spam folder too).

BTW, for those using the chase portal and paying with AMEX, Chase has a clause
that it has to be paid using a chase card to earn the bonus.
I never received a MF email but can log into my account just fine.

Thanks. But I'm looking for an app or site where I can actually put money and invest in stocks
Note sure if you mean Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Robinhood, or a site like seeking alpha that gives stock recommendations, but to get top recommendations they've gone to the subscription model (paid).

Missouri is not in the list
This means that if I buy this I will be charged $99 and I won't get the statement credit.

I did the offer via my chase freedom portal. i paid with my AMEX card yesterday around 5pm. I haven't received both confirmation emails from Chase and AMEX. AMEX has a tendency to not sending confirmation emails after i did offers before, but i always get statement credits. I have never bought anything from the Chase portal before. not receiving the confirmation from chase means something went wrong or the UR points will magically appear later? thanks.

Thanks for the update !

Did you register a new Fool account with the email address you used for the order ?

I tried doing that and it says "signup failed" for some reason.

I am going to give it a couple of days and then call them if I still have issues.

After one whole day, I've finally received the AMEX email with a title "Great news! You just used your Amex Offer for $99.00 cash back at MOTLEY FOOL LLC/ FOOL.COM". No words from Chase as of yet. Is it true that payment must be made in Chase Freedom credit card in order to earn the points via Chase Ultimate Rewards portal?

No, but if it doesn't track you have very little recourse.

Siiiigh... stop listening to the people spreading misinformation.

Here's some ACCURATE info:

1. $99 WITHOUT tax is fine
2. Chase portal with Amex appears to be fine
3. You can call or use contact form to stop auto-subscription
4. There might still be other portals avail to double dip with. Check the prior links I posted.

5. It takes hours for the Chase confirm email but you can check your account to at least see if it tracked
6. It can take a day for the Amex confirm email

When did you do it? Has it been at least 2 hours? Does it show as tracked visit in your account?

Hrm... I'm pretty sure mine had me do the account registration just after the payment screen.

i did chase portal too. never done one before and didn't receive a confirmation email. how do i see if it tracked? i hope it went thru, but i know you are supposed to use your chase card, so it might not.

UPDATE
in my chase UR i clicked on "rewards activity" then "Bonus on shopping and promotions" and it looks like it didn't track. "You don't have any recent Shop through Chase or promotional offer earn activity at this time."
Since so many see it already that sucks. There is another quote so maybe i'll get it "Please note: New Shop through Chase transactions may take up to 8 weeks to appear after the transaction has been billed to your Chase card account due to individual merchant timing."

Wonder why it doesn't show up?
