A one-year subscription costs $99. The offer is to spend $99+ and get $99 back, so it's a free one-year subscription.

Get a one-time $99 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single subscription-based purchase of $99+ online at The Motley Fool or at fool.com/amex [fool.com] by 5/8/2021. See terms.

Quote :
Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. American Express Prepaid Cards, Corporate Cards and American Express Cards issued outside the United States are not eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid only on US website or at Fool.com/amex. Valid only on purchases made in US dollars. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. The enrolled Card account must not be cancelled or past due to receive statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 5/8/2021, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. The Motley Fool Terms and Conditions currently provide that unless you notify The Motley Fool that you want to cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription or membership fee will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example, monthly, or annually). This means that The Motley Fool will collect the then-applicable membership or subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card The Motley Fool has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. Send an email to [email protected] after you have signed up requesting opt-out for the auto renewal. After I did that, they sent me an email that said: "we have disabled the auto-renewal feature"

If you search online - you will find 2-year packages to StockAdvisor or Rule-breakers for only $98 (one-year for $59)

Rule Breakers (1-Year) for $99:

TURN OFF AUTO-RENEWAL
All Motley Fool premium subscriptions are set to automatically renew for your convenience, and to ensure uninterrupted access to your premium service's investing guidance. If you would like to turn off the automatic renewal feature, we can assist.

[b]For those curious how Motley Fool's stock picks are performing I setup a pie (portfolio) on M1Finance with 41 of the most recent suggested stocks from Tom and David. As long as I see reps coming from this thread so I know people are still using it I will update this link every Thursday to show the new recommendations.
https://m1.finance/2M-jgR32cPTC [Final update was on 04/08 due to apparent lack of interest].
M1finance gives you free trades and fractional shares which means you can transfer xxx dollars a week or 2 weeks and it will adjust it based on your percentages.
Advantage of fractional shares is explained well here: https://www.fool.com/investing/ho...al-shares/

For the people complaining about to much spam before you go crazy and cancel your account, go into your account settings and uncheck what you don't want. I have everything unchecked but the buy/sell alerts in stock advisor. https://www.fool.com/account/comm...-settings/

I just signed up. The first thing they do is try to sell you upgraded services for anywhere from $200-$14,000. The "premium" service we get is nearly useless. The last stock picks article is from December 28.
Swagbucks has 7500SB for the $99 yearly subscription as well, should be stackable for a nice MM.
Market correction coming soon for GameStop.

i got the email from amex immediately (last week when I purchased), but when i just checked my account, the Motley Fool offer is still listed under "my offers" and the $99 charge for the membership is the most recent charge. Is this normal? Did anyone have the Amex credit post to their bill already?
I bought 1/31, shows as used under the "savings" tab for the offers. still not yet credited the $99

This is great! It sucks that their graphs don't show % or historic values for 1,3,5 year spans
You can get that info on seeking alpha. Just build a portfolio of the same 21 stocks. https://seekingalpha.com/account/portfolio

M1Finance actually does have the 1,3,5 year performance in an active account with the pie applied because you are tracking real money. It can only estimate performance on just a pie using the "if you invested 1 dollar starting date1 your performance is this by date2. The account is free and you can put $1 in each stock if you want to see live tracking.

The transaction has posted on AMEX Feb 4th , but the "Added to Card" still shows the offer not redeemed , while received the used amex offer email. The Chat With Us button is always not enabled nowadays. Called and was told , it is eligible and shows redeemed . But the online portal does not reflect same. conflicting information.

Depends on how you look at things....each of them provide a unique service....

FVRR operates an online gig-labor market place, allowing freelance workers to connect with potential client.
Lemonade has been a massively disruptive insurance company. Its AI-based platform gives it a big competitive advantage.
Cloudflare deals with cybersecurity.
Appian Allows customers to generate mobile apps with little or no coding.
Airb2b has change how customers book their flight, lodging etc.
SVB Financial...well that says it all.
Disney, Netflix, Tesla....streaming and cars (tech related but if you use that measuring stick then so is ford and all the other car dealers)
MercadoLibre started out as the Latin America version of Paypal but now has many other segments:
Mercado Envios: A shipping solution for merchants.
Mercado Shops: Online web stores for merchants who want their own site.
Mercado Fondos: Money market option for those using MercadoPago.
Mercado Credito: Facilitation of financing for those using MercadoPago.
Zynga is for gamers
Masimo is tech but it's noninvasive Medical tech..something pretty popular with customers vs older methods.
Several of the others are tech but again provide a unique service/product that in most cases has little competition. I forget which one but one developed a mri station a hospital can buy for $15000 where previous versions from elsewhere cost in the millions.....they could afford to let the hardware go cheap because they made money on the software via upgrades, updates etc.

There are probably a couple hundred older picks..many still valid and may be "re-recommended" at some point...these were just the most recent and don't include Amazon or Tradedesk both of which have done very well obviously because I had them in another pie and wanted all my buying of those stocks in one place (simplifying taxes among other things).

It's going to take over a week for it to show redeemed.

Good to know, I haven't received the email confirmation others have posted they got minutes after purchasing.

Looks like we have 30 days to cancel if we don't receive any confirmation by then.

This was my first usage of Chase as a cashback portal. It worked for me using my Amex card but considering the numerous reports of it not working, I'm hesitant to try it again. Is there anything consistent between the people who got it to work and those who didn't? Those who didn't, have you used cashback portals before? You have all blockers disabled as to not interfere with tracking? Are your visits even showing in Chase and they just saying no payment or no tracking at all? I can understand if they don't pay out if not using a Chase card, but I'd be surprised if the visit didn't even show as tracked.
