Looks like a great value as long as you don't mind a slightly older TV Model. Personally I'd rather pay the extra $300 for the newest version. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...tum-x-2019
Depends:

Next gen console and pc gamers, no brainer:
Get the 2020 model. Leverage the hdmi 2.1 bandwidth / 120hz input / and potentially VRR as well as potentially 1080p / 1440p / 4K @ 120 gaming

Last gen gamers (xbox one x / ps4 pro and older) and all other content like movies:
Rtings thinks the 2019 has better local diming and one of the best theyve seen, and:

"The 2020 model has better gray and black uniformity, and its input lag is significantly lower. On the other hand, the 2019 model has a higher contrast ratio, better local dimming, and faster response time."

So maybe saving the money + same 3yr warranty aint too bad an idea for some/many, that werent in need of hdmi 2.1 just yet and can and would wait 3+ yrs for another tv ...

The Vizio P75-G1 75" Quantum 4K is currently $1,299 at Costco with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. Other retailers like Best Buy are selling for $1,599

This is last years model. It is normally this price. The $1,500 one at best buy is this years model with HDMI 2.1 and is usually $1,999. What weird is this post picture has the new space ship screen but when you click it shows the space picture which is last year. The newest model number is P75QX-H1

I bought this last year for $1500 or so. I was a little wary of buying a Vizio but I have been very happy with it. I purchased the extended warranty anyway just in case.

Yeah this TV has an absolutely Gorgeous picture!

I've been waiting and hoping the 75" model would drop to $999.99 by now. It's hard when you can get an 82"-86" model from Samsung, LG, or Sony for $1299-$1599 on sale right now. Vizio is truly a great brand: inexpensive parts that are identical in quality & performance to Samsung parts for 5x-10x the cost. Beautiful picture and no less reliable or long-lasting as the other top brands.

I'm still waiting for this to dip below $1k. Close but not yet.

The rtings link is incorrect on the deal overview. It points to the 2020 version when the Costco version is the 2019 version. It has different a different rating - https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...tum-x-2019

Also please change the description to list it as PX75-G1.

Any thoughts on new one at best buy vs sony x900h? I am waiting for it to go on sale for $1500 again, but if this vizio is as good, I may go for it

Surprising the P isn't sub 1K. My goal is the 75" PX for under 1000. Might never make it there but that's my price point.
