Can't go wrong with either, though! Great deals on both units. I went with the VL45 myself and use it both at home as an extra freezer and as a 12v fridge for camping and overlanding. As good or better than the ARB and Dometic models that cost twice as much, and significantly better than the lower end 12v fridges like Alpicool.
