You'll get a different answer depending who you ask. I'm not heavily invested in either, but have used both. Dewalt is a higher quality brand. You will get better tools with more power, but they will cost more money. Ryobi is a good brand that has stayed dedicated to their battery form factor and makes a ton of tools that accept the ONE+ battery. Your money will go a lot further in the Ryobi platform and Ryobi is plenty good for most users. There's numerous articles you can find attempting to compare the pros and cons of each, so that may be a way to see a number of different opinions if you're undecided.
Another consideration to make: While most people advocate picking one tool platform and sticking with it so you stay with the same battery/company, Ryobi does serve as a pretty good alternative for adding infrequently used tools to a collection for home DIY. Example: Maybe you choose Dewalt for your drills, impact driver, and saws, but get Ryobi for a sander, light, inflator, and impact wrench if you don't do a lot of automotive.
There's no perfect answer here but hope this helps.
Well. It was posted 11/27 on black Friday and sold out that day. Then it was posted 12/3 and went in and out of stock with price variations. So to answer your question, 3 times. It's available this time with 2833 in stock so it shouldn't disappear for those that missed it before or weren't aware it came back.
Meh. Seriously man... why whine about the small stuff?
OP is keeping us informed, which I applaud (& always will). And as much as you post on tool deals here, it's sorta sad to see the whine bubble up from you, IMHO. Sorry man, I've seen it before & I guess my anti-whine rant here has now come due. LOL
Sure, I've seen this posted before... but it's great when someone takes the time to post it again, letting the masses know it's back in stock, even if the price is still holding steady at its historical low.
Besides, don't you still have 20+ of the old free Craftsman Nextecs piled up in your garage for your rental home empire? Haha.
Anyway... Happy Friday/weekend. ✓
BTW, repping the OP for the heads up on this deal. Thx sir.

How many times is this going to get posted? It's been this price for months, just goes in and out of stock

Thanks for sharing!! Seems like a great deal. I waited until the 1/2 kit was on sale and bit at 110 a few years back. So this is better as you get the 3/8 too.

the ryobi ecosystem is great! they have variety of tools many that perform just the same as all those other brands and some cases perform better for cheaper all using the same battery. so convenient and clean to keep organized with the same tool. many in the trade will say ryobi is not for people on the job site, but thats not an issue.

But... there is no charger or battery (keep that in mind when buying this) in this 'kit'.

Ive got the 1/2" impact wrench. It's taken lug nuts off every vehicle I've asked it to and some suspension bolts. Remember these don't have a battery so this kit is more "do you already have the one plus batteries". If so, it's good. If not, then you gotta factor in a battery and charger.
Remember these are "consumer" tools. You're not opening a Firestone location with them. They're great for what you ask but people start comparing them to thousand dollar tools and they conclude "these are junk don't buy them". I think they work fine

Thanks for your reply! I've already in the ecosystem and am getting too old to keep straining myself with hard to reach bolts on cars - I do my own maintenance.
I've never used any impact wrenches on auto work before. Would the 300 ft/lb wrench alone be good enough, using a converter socket of course, or is it handy to have both?
Are you able to use this as a torque wrench as well? (set to x ft/lbs). Guessing not.
Is there any danger to Fing up rusted bolts that need a little breaking? I mean use some PB blaster and stuff sure, but just pull the trigger and go?
FINALLY, have you found this useless for tight spaces? Maybe with extension bars? I think about when I last dropped my truck's transmission and how 80% of the time was angling my socket wrench on hard to reach bolts. In other words, what have you found this saves time and effort on other than lugnuts? I'll take my answers off air. Thanks if you are able to respond with you thoughts!
