Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
The MSRP on the only MSI 3080 at Best Buy is $960. So while this may not be a deal, and all the components at retail (Amazon has the 10700kf at $360), it's hard to find a 3080 at retail prices. So in that regard, this may not be super slick, but if it was in stock still I'd have got it.

back in stock! Don't listen to him!
I got one! Very good deal
The difference between the 900k and the 700k is not $500.
You can build yourself one for less if you watch sales and get lucky with obtaining the 3080. For something that is in stock an available, this is an okay price.

10700k at $1900 = it's $500 overpriced.
