Ooo the stapler at that $84 price is awesome. Missed it first time, and there was that $99 recent deal, but I held harder than a person holding GameStop stock right now, and you came through thanks OP.
Stapler was a great deal. I bought it this time. Surprised there's not more love for the 1/2" fuel ratchet + battery. That's a pretty nice deal and pretty rare sale for it as far as I can tell.

I think everyone wants the 3/8" ratchet, I know I do. Most bolts requiring a 1/2" are easy to reach with an impact.
Does anyone know if the M12 battery is the same as older Craftsman 12 volt stuff? They look like the same form factor. I have some drills and batteries and it'd be great if they work.
No different than how to hack a deal like you referenced in the YouTube video. They would usually give the lowest on sale price without a receipt, nothing unethical about it. Dont be that guy that replies to a question with their patronizing remark, being of no help.
There actually is a difference. The deal hacks are built into the pricing/promo and show on the receipt with return values for each item. Items or promos they don't want to be "hacked" are single sku and not separated out on a receipt (i.e. most M12 + 2.0ah battery deals). Returning without a receipt on purpose to try to get a better/nonexistent deal isn't the same. The hack deals are all returned *with* a receipt and in plain view of customer service.
Edit:
Just fyi, the youtube video he posted is if you buy another version of the promo which is $399. You have to follow the steps to do it. It won't work on this internet-only single sku $349 promo.

Not the same thing at all.
One is a prorated refund that has pre-prescribed refund amounts for each item on the receipt and the other usually gives a much higher refund value for the returned item because it isn't prorated, in turn hurting the retailer more and eventually getting you blacklisted for no receipt returns.
If I buy any of the M18 Fuel Hammer Drill & Impact Driver combo, can I somehow return the Grinder or the speaker and save some bucks? If so, how much will I get back?
Nope. That works for most (all?) of the in store deals, but only a few of the online deals. The way to tell is to see how it shows up in your cart. The "hackable" deals show up as two or more items in your cart and then it splits the savings. An example would be If you put the hammer drill / impact combo into your cart and then added the grinder, then the total price would be $399 and you could return the grinder and the drill / impact would be about $275.

Agree. He can do it with the $399 promo below, but not the current $349 promo. If you use the router or jigsaw instead of the grinder, you get the drill//impact kit for $266
Don't feel bad on missing out, they backordered the staplers to March, still haven't received mine. Canceling that one and picking up this deal, thanks OP.

There's a 3/8 ratchet with multi-tool combo for $229. Is that not a good deal?
