I got a refurb at this price a week and a half ago. It's friggen incredible. Going in I was super nervous cause most of my house is Saltillo tile (Mexican tile) and the grout joints can be brutal, but the vac works perfect and the mapping and pathing is amazing. I highly recommend it, but with the S7 announced, it's hard to say if you'd be better off waiting. The new model has the ability to lift up the mop a bit while on carpet, vibrate the mop to improve the mopping, an all-rubber vacuum brush, and self-empty. The self-empty does require purchasing the special dock which I believe is $299. Also, the S7 doesn't have the dual cameras, so it's not the end-all, nor nearly as pet-proof. I suspect the max version of the S7 will be around $899 whenever it is announced.

It uses the cameras to identify common obstacles including animals and dog poop if that's a thing in your house. It's not perfect, but it's damn good.
