All of these Infinity Reference speakers are on sale again!! I think these are some of the lowest price I have seen! I have all of them except for the tower and subs and they are so awesome, crystal clear sound. They are also certified wife annoy able, lol!
R263s have been $199/ea in past sales, otherwise these all match the lowest prices I can recall. Over the course of a few sales I've picked up the R263s, RC263, and R162s to fill out a 5.1 system (with HSU sub). For the price I've been extremely happy.
Yes, the RC263 is worth the extra $50 and is a steal at $150. Make sure it fits as it's a big center.
Yes. Just finished a theater basement remodel. Came from a Jamo setup to the R263/RC263/R162s and the difference in sound is night and day.
They are aesthetically pleasing too. Here's my setup
I finally upgraded my Monitor 50's and bought R263s and the matching RC263. Ordered on Feb 3rd and arrived on Feb 9th.
Big is an understatement. The center alone dwarfs my Sony receiver.
The huge cylinder in the corner is an old SVS 25-31CS powered by a plate amp I put in a wood storage box lol. I also have a Jamo J12 I purchased last year when it was posted here in SD.
Need a bigger TV and we can all go to your home and watch Godzilla fights with Ultraman.
Dang, that sounds like a tough room to work around. It sounds like 152 or 162s on stands are not an option for the sides either?
I eventually went with that - using R162 as side surround, ear level. It cost some wife capital and a nice stand/plants to hide the speaker on the surround L side, but it worked. So I have R253 in the front and 4xR162 for the Back/Side Surround + RC263 + SVS PB2000.
I don't know if the 7.1 is >> the 5.1, but I had all the speakers so I figured "why not" instead of shipping some back :-D

I've only tried it with Call of Duty, but the sounds are coming from everywhere now, making me feel like I'm really fighting/shooting/getting shot at - it really takes the gaming experience to the next level, way more than I expected! 5.1 was also awesome, but the 7.1 really complemented the experience.
I'll try it with some Marvel Universe movie soon. With music, not a big diff since most (all?) non-live albums are stereo in any case and get up-sampled by the receiver. Still, it's fun.

Any pics of the setup? Assuming your gear arrived without any damage?
My order is arriving today It appears for this last sale that Harmon didn't over sell, or they have a better grip on their supply chain. Many angree hombres from the Nov. sale especially for the RC263 Center which was back ordered up to six weeks waiting on China resupply.
Some on this thread mentioned 2018 / 2019 build dates. These Speakers must be stacked up in some huge China Warehouse if they are pulling 3 year old inventory to ship to the States. Makes you wonder if this line is actually still in production.
Edit, well you can look forward to more Infinity sales. Speakers are still in production. My build dates R152 / RC252 are Oct and July 2020.
Only played the R152 Bookshelves so far in 2.1 with an Energy 10.3 sub. Spun some Classic Rock Vinyl, Clapton and Trower. Fairly impressed. A little brighter than my Energy RC-10's which is a good thing. Nice paring with Denon. I'm sure I need to change the crossover on the Denon as the RC-10's hit lower, just need to look up how to do that as it's been 9 years since I used that setting.

Some boxes were slightly bruised, but the content was always in perfect shape.
Photos of a 7.1 setup (i.e. a 360 of my living room + kitchen) require slightly more revealing than I'm willing to have online, sorry.

Thanks for the update on the condition of the boxes/ speakers and I totally understand no pics. Looking forward to getting mine.
Is it that much of a difference? The rc263 is sold out so I can wait for next sale while I test out this JBL 520c
What are your room measurements? On face it's a ridiculous statement from Sacflies that the RC252 isn't up to snuff (Tim the Tool Man syndrome) For a small to medium room it is more than fine. The RC263 is ridiculously large with many having to spend a lot more money for a stand / entertainment center to house it. The RC263 will have better midrage for dialogue vs RC252 but a decent Receivers equalization can compensate for this to a large degree.

TV is already 75"! How much bigger? 😁
