I got it a few weeks ago, it's expensive but can't imagine using something different now. Can connect bluetooth to 3 different computers so you can use same mouse to simultaneously switch between computers. Horizontal scroll is nice for flipping through web page tabs. Also enables you to drop and drag files from one computer to another. These are just extra perks on top of a mouse that is the best at all the basics as well -- feels great and gives support to hand, wide stable base, rubber coat feels amazing, magnetic vertical scroll wheel is so smooth etc etc. I usually keep my mice for 10 years so spending $80 is well worth it rather than spending $50+ on a shitty mouse and keyboard set every few years. Pair this with the MX Keys keyboard for $80 with the $20 off at staples and your golden.
PS - I also bought the MX 2S mouse for $60 slick deal from Lenovo.com since it's very similar to this newer MX 3, thinking the savings would be worth it -- Nope, returned 2S.

I may just be weird, but I bought this (in grey, which I thought looked nicer) and the M720 and am strongly considering returning this and keeping the M720. The MX Master 3 definitely feels more premium, but I just don't love the shape—the curve is too exaggerated for me, and it bothers me. Also, while I love the MX Master electromagnetic scroll and would be sad to give it up, I really miss having a tilt wheel—the side scroll just isn't doing it for me. The M720 has a better shape for my hand, and still has the multi-device capabilities, but I do wish it were a bit bigger—I liked the shape of my G5/G500 mice better than either of these.

Bought this on the last deal.

I just wish the mouse clicks weren't so loud. Keep that in mind if loud mouse clicks really bother you.

But I'm otherwise quite satisfied with the mouse. Sure, the price is steep but if you're using it every day it's worth it to me.

I have a mx master 2s and it is a game changer for work as I have to switch often between two computers

Looks like they addressed the poorly placed buttons with the 3. I'd say based on that, if I was looking for a new mouse I would buy the 3. But it's not enough to upgrade 2s to 3

Keep in mind, this mouse is a bit heavy and I noticed a smidge of a delay in initiating movement in shooter games

The 2S feels like a POS in a side by side comparison. Definitely don't buy both like I did to see which you like better..... once you go 3S you never go back.

I just bought the keyboard for myself and work (though I need admin to allow install of the software.) Definitely looking at this mouse as an upgrade to the M510 I've used for years.

have used the mx and mx2 since they've been out, going to grab the 3 now. no better mouse out there, when i first bought one, every developer on my team had one the next day.

the logitech mx keys keyboard is amazing as well. huge fan for of it for software development.

I bought the MX keys and this mouse well over a year ago, Highly recommended worth every penny. Particularly good because I work between 3 computers and this really is a great solution not just for the multiple computers but the features are so useful.

Is it worth moving from a 2 to this 3? I've had a 2 for a few years and LOVE it. Nothing wrong with it, but the 3 looks like it has better forward and back placement, but that's it.

Worth dropping $80?
