I got it a few weeks ago, it's expensive but can't imagine using something different now. Can connect bluetooth to 3 different computers so you can use same mouse to simultaneously switch between computers. Horizontal scroll is nice for flipping through web page tabs. Also enables you to drop and drag files from one computer to another. These are just extra perks on top of a mouse that is the best at all the basics as well -- feels great and gives support to hand, wide stable base, rubber coat feels amazing, magnetic vertical scroll wheel is so smooth etc etc. I usually keep my mice for 10 years so spending $80 is well worth it rather than spending $50+ on a shitty mouse and keyboard set every few years. Pair this with the MX Keys keyboard for $80 with the $20 off at staples and your golden.
PS - I also bought the MX 2S mouse for $60 slick deal from Lenovo.com since it's very similar to this newer MX 3, thinking the savings would be worth it -- Nope, returned 2S.

Since the amount of tax varies from place to place, the stated price is always pre-tax

Before jumping on this mouse, PLEASE, do some homework and find the issues with the WHEEL.

"mx master 3 scroll wheel issue" - that's the google search for y'all, make sure to check Youtube videos as well.

EVERYONE I know has these problem eventually, and that's the main reason why I decided to go with MX 2s, even if it's a little bit worse.

UPD:

Some of the users are "sure" that issue is gone by now, as Logitech "probably addressed it". Nada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfIDI1qiurc

Sort by new, thank me later

Is it worth moving from a 2 to this 3? I've had a 2 for a few years and LOVE it. Nothing wrong with it, but the 3 looks like it has better forward and back placement, but that's it.

Worth dropping $80?
read my previous reply and save yourself 80 bucks

I disagree I prefer the 2S over the 3 I have both.
Why do you like 2S better? Majority of the posters say 3S is better and I agree, so it sounds like a preference over actual build, or are you saying 2S is better at everything else too?? The only thing I can point out for the 2S is that if you have thinner hands it might feel better because the 3S seems a hair wider. I have average sized hands at 6' tall.

I love the mouse, but the multi-device function with MX Keys leaves somethings to be desired. Switching the keyboard to the 2nd, or 3rd device doesn't switch the mouse.

This is true. I had to return mine due to this issue. I really wanted to keep it because it looks and feel premium

The scrollwheel on the 3s will eventually not function correctly. Has happened to many people already. It has a newer tech that hasn't fully matured yet compared to the tried and true solution of the 2S. Yes, 3s has more features and customizations, but I don't personally think it's worth the premium over the already great 2s. Yes, there are still issues with the 2s as well, like the higher placed forward and back buttons, the loud scroll wheels and the micro USB cable ( 3s has USB-C)

Also, everyone has different sized hands so their preferences as to the grip would differ.

Honestly I just find it more comfortable and I like the mouse wheel better.

The 2S feels like a POS in a side by side comparison. Definitely don't buy both like I did to see which you like better..... once you go 3S you never go back.
I have the 2S and I love it...makes me wonder what the 3S is like. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I'm just going to keep using this thing until it melts or blows up. Better to keep myself in the dark.

Anybody have thoughts/experience on logitech customer support in getting a replacement for 3S scroll wheel? Pretty sure in past threads people have said they have amazing customer service, but I don't know in regards to this particular issue. If my wheel ever broke, regardless of how many years I've had it, I'd definitely be calling and saying it's a well known issue so better send a new one.

I feel like the concensus is 3S is a better mouse unless there's some preferential liking for the 2S (grip feels better for whatever reason, worry about 3s wheel breaking, is more $ worth it to you etc.). At the same time it seems not worth going to 3S if you already have the 2S since it's a damn good mouse too, unless $80 to have the next marginally better thing is OK with you.

I bought this exact mouse about 4 months ago. This has to be the best mouse that I have used for workflow in Premiere Pro CC and Audition.

Although having a consensus is admirable, it's best to use your own judgment in choosing which product is right for you. Seeking validation from others seems like you are buying for others, as if to fit in.

Should I get this or the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro that's on sale now ($99)?
I'd use it mainly for work (coding) and casual games (League of Legends mainly)

To echo others, this is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. If you work at your computer all day, an investment in a comfortable and easy to use mouse just makes sense.

If you own a 2, I don't see a major reason to upgrade to the 3. I went from the 1 to the 3 and was pretty pleased with the new button configuration.
