Dexter is a good show. I noticed it is now free to stream for Prime Members (no Showtime required). Ending could have been a lot better, but that shouldn't stop anyone from watching it. They are supposedly going to have a new season of Dexter. Looking forward to that.

Other shows I liked on Showtime:

United States of Tara [amazon.com]
On Becoming a God in Central Florida [amazon.com]
Kidding [amazon.com]
Your Honor [amazon.com]
The Chi [amazon.com]
Homeland [amazon.com]
The Affair [amazon.com]

Definitely worth the 30 days, if only to watch the first 4 seasons of Dexter. Feel free to stop after that.

Great deal if you aren't a student and can't get in on $5 Spotify-Hulu-Showtime deal.

It is worth it to me, their shows can be of exceptional quality.

Ray Donovan
Dexter
Homeland
Guerrilla
(wife likes) Penny Dreadful
Weeds (tho, now missing from Showtime's lineup; looks like it is moving to Starz with a reboot)

Yes, back in the day Showtime had good programming and it's worth watching if you missed it, but $5 a month is way too much to pay for any of its current lineup.

Tried it for 6 months via Hulu, when on special offer for also IIRC 5$ a month. Never opened it once, lol. And we were supposed to catch up on three seasons of Shameless. But, to each his own. 's good deal, repped.

After the undignified way they terminated Ray Donovan, I don't think they deserve more business.

Students can also get Spotify, Hulu and Showtime for $4.99 a month. They must reverify their student status yearly (a month before it expires).

Is that for a limited time or forever? I read through the terms of service and it doesn't seem to have a time limit as to how long you may keep it.
