- For anyone planning travel to the Hawaiian Islands, it is important to be aware of new and enhanced State of Hawai'i Safe Travels Hawai'i program entry requirements prior to departure.
- All travelers ages five and over will be required to take a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab in order to bypass the State of Hawai'i's 10-day mandatory quarantine.
- The State of Hawaiʻi will accept test results ONLY from TRUSTED TESTING AND TRAVEL PARTNERS
- The test will need to be taken no more than 72 hours before your flight departure time.
- Completing the state of Hawaiʻi's Safe Travels Hawaiʻi program application form and obtaining your QR code(s) for Hawaiʻi airport processing PRIOR TO departure will significantly reduce your arrival airport screening and processing time.

Forego the 10-day self-quarantine by taking an approved pre-travel test
If you're traveling into or within* the State of Hawaii, you have two options:
1. Quarantine: complete the State's mandatory 10-day self-quarantine
2. Take a pre-travel test: forego the quarantine by taking a pre-travel test
The test must be from a state-approved testing provider
The test must be administered no more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the final leg to Hawaii
For trans-pacific travel, test results must be received prior to flight departure

Its a drive-up and took 10 mins from pulling up to exiting the parking lot.
The longer you have a mask on the better. Of course people need to take them off to eat but at other times why not decrease the chances of getting infected
The latest advice is to "double mask" because they still don't have enough N95s to go around. Sad.

It wasn't a big deal for us since they had a Kaiser on Maui.
