I decided to do the checking but not the saving because I can leave the checking account open with a zero balance after I get my bonus in June. For the savings, I'd have to leave $500 in the account for a year in order to avoid the $25 per quarter fee and keep the $50 bonus. A year is too long.

I just opened checking and saving account. I had to upload my id, ok no big deal. Now my account is under review.... seriously? and they will call me? I'm not a big fan of phone calls, they are usually very intrusive and always call at the worst moment...... usually when I'm sitting at the "oval office". lol.

I created the account on Feb 2nd, got a deposit from my pay period on Feb 26th of $500.
No update/messages concerning the $200 bonus promo since creating the account aside from using the url on this slickdeals post.

Opened the account on Feb 4th. $500+ DD posted on the 9th. $200 bonus showed up March 4th. The promotion details mentioned getting the bonus by June 30th 2021.

created the account on Feb 2nd, got a deposit from my pay period on Feb 26th of $500

edit:
Offer page no longer existent.
Must keep account open for 1 year and maintain 500 balance in checking. (according to some people on Page 3)
So, I can withdraw the $200 for now and keep the initial $500 deposit there, I guess?

You don't have to keep $500 balance in the checking, only savings. Just keep a $1.00 in the account for a year and close it.

I don't have savings acc and I don't want to maintain the minimum for the savings acc to avoid fees (I think it's $1k or something?)
