Costco.com will gladly issue a credit for the difference between the price you paid and the promotional price, if your purchase was made online at Costco.com and was within 30 days prior to the change in price. Credits are typically issued within 3-5 business days. ... Costco does not price match with other retailers.
I bought it in Costco warehouse and now I cannot price adjust with costco.com so sad $300 loss.

I heard it is a bad time to buy gaming desktop right now with the hugely overprice (and even out of stock) in graphic card and CPU, etc (?) I assume people are paying highend gaming desktop price for even mid range gaming desktop now?
Cheapest current price on a RTX 2060 is $650: https://pcpartpicker.com/products...rice&c=436
The cheapest 3060Ti is $950!

People who are saying that these old laptops are going to be blown out for bargain prices are delusional IMO. Demand for video cards is sky high. Why dedicate scarce video cards to relatively cheap laptops, when you can get $$$ for them in desktop format?

I bet we will see big shortages in 3000 series laptop GPUs, and this will affect prices on older gaming laptops as well.

It was $1,399.99 and Costco give a $300.00 off for this February. No coupon needed, but you will need Costco membership to make a purchase. That is a pretty good deal for a RTX2060 laptop

I'm not seeing that. It doesn't say "members only" so pretty sure anyone can buy it. You'll need to pay an extra 5% if a non-member though.

Every CONS you stated above is absolutely normal with gaming laptops. A cooling pad (or a repaste) and a headphone would partially solve those those CONS
Have this laptop. Cooling fan makes little difference and not everybody is comfortable repasting especially since they have a warranty sticker over a screw. It's a good laptop but it runs very hot with it's i7 and 115wt rtx 2060.

Also the rgb keyboard and msi dragon center is really buggy. Not worth the headache imo especially when rtx 30 laptops are coming out.

Given that there has been multiple RTX 2060 laptops in the $650 to $900 price range, this $1,100 price is disappointing for an RTX 2060 laptop.
Older processors, smaller screens, etc...

I bought this on 12/31 online for $1199 so I am beyond my 30 days price adjustment for the $100, but I think I can return it in store. I haven't opened the box yet. Wondering with all the comments about short battery life and running hot if I should look for something else. Not looking for anything for gaming, just something that can execute stock trades quickly and can run a couple of other monitors. And of course at a good price. I think this may be overkill for what I need?

Haven't even opened it? What are you waiting for? Costco has 90 day returns.

If you want a big screen I think the Msi with the 1650ti for $750 would be a better fit, though you'll probably want to do a ram upgrade. You'd just need to buy an additional 8gb stick and install it.

Or the Bravo if you want a really great CPU.

I think it is mostly due to AMD coming out in weeks with the next gen CPU which is suppose to blow away Intel.

I would not recommend a new laptop this month unless you have no choice.

Even with the Ryzen 4000, the best GPU's were the RTX2060... this will all change with the next gen AMD machines. It is probably a good time to buy AMD stock, I just hope they made enough product... but it seems they did (time will tell).
