Like this 3070 system for the same price. https://slickdeals.net/f/14826469-1200-begins-02-11-alienware-aurora-r10-desktop-3700x-rtx-3070-16gb-ram-512gb-nvme?v=1
The display is >300 nits.
I bought this laptop yesterday. Main reasons:
1) It's MSI's big premium gaming model; good quality and features.
2) I really wanted 17.3"
3) Display is bright, high contrast, good color, fast response, high refresh.
4) RTX 2060 is 115W, which means it's ~15% faster than 80W 2060s and 1660 Ti. It's actually damn near as fast as most of the 2070s and 2080s that are available, since they are power and thermal throttled.
5) It has great speakers
6) You can install two m.2 drives as well as a 2.5" drive.
7) Comes with 16GB ram, 512GB + 1TB.
8) Has an 11.4V battery.... so there may be a chance I can run it direct from my ~13V lithium camper batteries.
9) Costco warranty and return policy! I have 90 days to change my mind.
10) I expect the new gen CPUs and GPUs will be in short supply for many months
11) RGB keyboard.
12) MSI has an advanced hack for the bios so you can undervolt. On most newer laptops that isn't possible.
Things I don't like so much:
1) Bottom cover is hard to remove
2) Reports of hinges breaking
3) Backlight bleed on some units
4) A Ryzen processor would be nice
Overall I think it's a very solid deal at this price.

"The GE76 Raider starts at $1,499, a firmly midrange price point, and models scale all the way up to $2,899 from there. All GE76 models are 17 inches, and at that size, it is a hefty laptop, measuring 1.08 by 15.6 by 10.6 inches (HWD) and 6.4 pounds.
The GE76 base model starts off with a Core i7-10750H processor, an RTX 3060 GPU, 16GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. From there, the models ramp up through the RTX 30-Series hierarchy to the all-powerful RTX 3080 (the full-power, not Max-Q, version). The base model also features a 144Hz refresh rate display, while the rest upgrade to a 300Hz panel."

GPU performance: average of 12% performance increase over stock by reducing voltage from 1.063 to .938, and increasing vram freq. from 5500 to 6750. It's still limited by the 115W power ceiling. That performance boost puts it right in line with a stock 2070 MaxP.
CPU performance: a whopping 29% increase in multicore performance (0% in single) by reducing core voltage by -.200 and cache by -.075, and increasing the power limit to 70W from 45W. CPU stays below 95C still.

Configuration looks great however keyboard is bit down, hinges which connects display is of very poor quality. Screen back does not have protection.
I was using it was delicate piece of machinery still the right hinge cracked from inside while just trying to close.
I think this is a design issue. I saw same issues with other buyers.
