I have 805 fico and they decline my Application for Venture credit card and wasted 1 credit check. I won't be applying any Capital one credit card anytime soon.

I have this card myself and can't say nothing bad about it. Few times called CS to dispute charges and it toke no longer than 5mins to do it. Another time did it online myself for international transaction without any issues.

dang dude that seems like a mistake then. Vantage 3.0, which is what cap one uses has a max score of 850. Anything above 790 is considered excellent. Either a mistake or you have semi-recent bad history with credit cards or you disclosed sub poverty income info.

very subjective bro. depends on what you're buying. for amazon, Chase Bank has the card w 5% cashback on amazon, this is a must for Amazon users imo. Discover has 5% cashback on different categories every quarter. citi has that costco card and other cards with lots of cashback incentives. Cap one is good for the 1.5% cashback across the board. Amex has up to 3-6% back on grocery stores... I think your hierarchy is null and invalid for everyone except you. All depends on what you buy.

People who dont know any better. CapOne is a very conservative company. If you either, already have CapOne credit cards, recently applied for a CapOne credit card, Or already opened other credit cards within the past year or two, they may very easily deny you. So make sure none of that is true before applying if you care about hard credit pulls.
