      You're right. This stuff survives 2-3 washes and then is shrunk to a point where I cannot wear it anymore.

      Isn't most of it polyester or poly cotton blends? That stuff doesn't usually shrink or shrinks very little in the wash in my experience.

      Yea. I saw some shirts that I really liked a while back here on sd...looked great in pics, great price. I thought how bad could it be. Luckily there is one near me. I went to take a look, and it didn't look as nice in person, and the material was just cheap and thin. I can't say if jeans and pants are cheapish, as I only looked at their shirts.

      I mean you are paying Walmart prices. I have tried GAP factory before and it's decent. Ordered a few half zips from here as well. I'm sure it's the same type of quality.

      I have never had a problem with BR outlet items. You have to understand to check what you're ordering. Nothing from BR is "pre-shrunk". Order a size up and after a wash, it fits nice. I've had all my stuff from BR and BR outlets for YEARS and it never shrinks passed the original shrink-age

      It is so so bad. I had very bad experience with shots, formal trousers, sweaters, etc.. just fyi, i bought the sweater which exactly looks like factory one(doesnt feel like) still running since 2 years while factory sweaters lasted for couple of days.. factory ones are so thin that they doesnt sit on you at all. Shorts, formal pants are lasted for 2-3 washes. Just stay away and buy quality ones!!

      In Men's department some of them are 82% polyester, 18% rayon. Some are 100% polyester.
      Total junk.
      But at the same time Ribbed Shawl-Collar Sweater is 100% cotton. If you like the style it's a good deal.

      All the so called "Factory" versions of mall brands are a huge rip off. They have nothing to do with the original brand. People think they are getting overstock or last season's products, when in fact these clothes are made cheaply just for these outlet stores and have never seen the inside of a retail store.

      You can tell from the label; Banana Republic has the three "diamonds" just under the logo to mark that the item is inferior Factory quality. Other brands do similar marks.

      Those brushed Henley's are pretty nice, actually. Definitely better quality than walmart. Sizing is a touch snug.
