Hey guys! Found a legit deal on Old Spice Body wash. Looks like Walmart is clearing out the 16oz. Old Spice Ultra Smooth body wash scents. The cheapest showing for me is $0.70 (87% off) for the "Smooth Finish" scent. I looked up other scents and they are clearanced at most 60% around me. Other two scents may fall further in coming days/weeks so be on lookout.

*YMMV on clearance price and stock, but seems plenty of stock right now!*

*IN-STORE ONLY PRICE*

PLENTY of this stuff in stock it seems. Here are links for the different scents:

Further research:

I stocked up for about 4 years worth. I read this piece that stated typically a 13oz should last 40-50 uses for quarter sized use, but I know I use probably 50-67% of that though. The quality seems to go a long way. So if you use once a day for a shower, then that's 3.07 days per 1 oz, worst case. So these 16 oz. bottles would be 49 uses/days. Meaning you would use 7.5 bottles in a year. For me, there is no way I go through that much in 1 year so I pegged mine realistically around 3-16oz bottles per year so bought 12 + 3 extra for good measure. I don't mind the same scent over and over and it cleans just fine. For $0.70 it's a steal and I'll use same for 4-5 yrs no problem.

P&G seems to have an "expiration date" and states Old Spice products have a 3 year shelf life if stored correctly. Probably meaning not in a hot garage or freeze/thaw temps. Here is that link:

I further read this piece that indicates soap is likely good for awhile longer after expiration date if not a lot of natural ingredients and personal experience I've used body wash and shampoo that is up to 8-10 years without much of an issue. Just depending what it is and long as oil hasn't gone rancid in product or fails to lather.

FYI real soap never expires. The reason they're saying soap expires is because it gets rancid or moldy. If your soap is going to rancid or moldy it is because whoever made it miscalculated their formulation and had too many free oils or butters that didn't saponify. Also this is a body wash which is not a soap - it is a detergent. So moot point on if soap expires or not

Great points. I saw P&G states their old spice products have a 3-yr shelf life which may be what their "expiration date" is. Perhaps they've seen a quality issue beyond that with detergents similar to what happens to soaps? 🤷 ♂️

Haha well they had a TON of it and I didn't want all of them. They had a bunch in stock. Just wanted enough to carry through the shelf life.

I was able to get some for $1.00, a couple were $2.00, and a few for $1.34. The $1 ones were on the very top shelf, facing the other way, not ready to stock yet. Thanks for the deal!

I pulled some from the shelf. The price displayed didn't reflect the ring up price, which was cheaper.

We got a bunch of these the other day, it was marked down to 3 something but it was 1.40 when we scanned it on our phone, maybe it went further down now, or that's the price of other stores

At my store they weren't in the normal body wash section. They were in an Old Spice cardboard display in the main aisle just outside the makeup aisles.

Great find. Bought six today at $1.00 a piece. One Smooth Finish, three Clean Slate, and two Fresh Scent. I bought the only Smooth Finish they had. They had plenty more of the other two scents. It may not have been the low low price of .70 cents but $1.00 was a steal in my opinion. Thanks for posting.
