This bidet is a game changer for life. I can't go back to the archaic wipes again.

Can anyone confirm if this 6800 or 6800U? The title says just 6800, but description says U but lists only non-U features. (The difference is heated seating.)
I bought this last time, it's the U and has a heated seat. You can even see it on the controller in the picture

It's the U. The U and non-U have very different looking controllers. This photos on costco's site match the U model photos on bio bidet's site:

Dang, just bought/installed the BB-1000 via Woot @ $269. This one looks very similar for features.

This thing is a game changer. So much different and better than those 30 dollar jobbers. The heated seat alone is worth it!
Disagree. Had the A8 from Costco and it broke in about two weeks time and was a real hassle especially dealing with BB's customer support. Ended up returning it. Good part about Costco was the return was simple. Replaced with a Luxe 120 for around 30 bucks and will never consider the higher end (no pun intended) models.

Finally broke down last Nov and bought the Brondell Swash 1400 for twice this. My bunghole has never been happier, or cleaner. But I'm wondering if this wouldn't have been good enough.

the Lux 120 is the model that the BB-1000 replaced at my house. I don't want to go back.

New to considering a bidet. Is this worth the extra cost vs a Tushy? I've seen a ton of ads for Tushy hitting me up on Facebook these days.

If you're not plugging it in, it's not gonna be what you want.

Warmed water? yes please
Heated seat? yes please
Air dry? yes please
Adjustable nozzle position via remote? yes please

Getting none of those with tushy.

So I'd need electrical and hot water hookup near the toilet for this bidet?

I have both A8 and 6800U from previous deals. 6800U uses a tank to store warm water. Once the tank runs down, you are out of warm water, even though the water still doesn't get cold. That's why the wash only last about 40 seconds by default. A8 is a hybrid design. It has a tank for the initial warm water and it also have direct heating element for later which is
supposedly better than tank only design like the 6800U.

Personal I found 6800 regulates the water temp better than A8. With A8 I get water temp fluctuate a lot from start to finish while 6800U stays rather consistent till the tail end of the cycle. Other than that, they are very similar features and price. Go with either one and you won't be disappointed.

For this one linked you need a standard electrical outlet. The kit comes with everything needed to split your water supply to toilet and bidet. The bidet heats the water for you.

Just electrical. The bidet heats the cold water from the same line that currently feeds your toilet.
