Question: I clicked the "see deal" and then saw the price tag is $1280.
Does this mean the deal is expired?

Please scroll down on the product page...
where you see multiple options: Overview, specifications, etc...within that list click "Buying Options"
That is where you'll find the open box items...and you can check if your preferred store or any store within a certain radius has this in stock.

The deal is not dead. It is still on...I checked just now and found it available for $729 at my local best buy...

Hope it helps. Good Luck.

Just picked one up for $729 as well, not a scratch on it and all accessories included! Hope yours turns out the same.
They wouldn't allow me to pay for it in store, apparently the price was below what they could adjust it to. Placed the order on my phone for curbside pickup;

Great deal.

Does curbside pickup require human interaction? Even briefly for signing and such?
Edit: they have contactless pickup [bestbuy.com].

Do credit card extended warranties cover open box items?
Hard to know for sure: depends on if and how much of a manufacturer's warranty is left on the laptop, and assuming something significant is left, it depends on whether the credit card will honor it, once they see the "open box" on the receipt. Bestbuy essentially warranties [bestbuy.com] open items for the time period (usually a year) regardless of how much of the manufacturer warranty is remaining.

Would BestBuy rewards make this sweeter?
5% BB rewards if you use your BB credit card. If you don't have a BB credit card, apply for one online, get approved instantly, and use it instantly, and get 10% off your first purchase. Of course, this is not cashback, you have to find something worthwhile in BB to buy with the rewards. Also, you definitely lose the chance of extended warranty [fool.com]via your credit card.

No, you need to show some code on your phone, then they will give it to you, or into your car

Take a look at the version of this with the gtx1650... Roughly the same price and I have been gaming decently with it... It's a great option if you'd rather have the video card sucking away the battery than a 4k screen. I get about 6 hours regular use

Got a satisfactory one. No box, just got the bare laptop and charger. Stylus included. Was dirty, but a good cleaning helped a lot.

Upsides: flagship model, excellent specs, fantastic screen, surprisingly good audio.

Downsides: no credit card extended warranty, poor battery life, not sure if 4k is any better than 2560x1440, keyboard sucks compared to X1 business line (poor key travel, no dedicated home, end, pgup, pgdn keys).

Bought with first time BB visa, so got 10% back in rewards.

Overall, fantastic deal. as an earlier poster said, I can find nothing close to these specs for this price. Thank you OP!

Had purchased both, open box for BBY. Tested for 10 days. More happy with 1080p and returned 4k one due to fan and battery issues. Don't see much difference in 1080p vs 4k in routine stuffs vs so much difference in battery life, fan noise and price of course. I have CX 77" OLED TV, If I need to watch something on 4K 😅

Comparing this Lenovo to a MBPro is like comparing a certified Mercedes to a $80K Tesla. But let's just say you want to compare, most people are too tied to Windows ecosystem, and switching is cost prohibitive. Nevertheless, I am happy that you like your machine!

Looking at the customer pictures this model may have a screen deflect...anyone know anything about this? I want to buy this but it's a one month warranty and I need something that will last.

I prefer touch screen.

This doesn't seem to have HDMI port ? Is that right ? Also given that it is 1.3ghz, is this comparatively a bit slow than other laptops with 2.4ghz speed.
