They may require state id to approve . They don't even approve using passport . Experienced this while applying for quicksilver card .

FWIW capital one denied me for this one last year with 828 fico.

Went for the altitude go from usbank. dentist bill took care of the spend requirements (ugh)

This is a pretty good bonus. It usually runs around $150-$200 for this card and $250 is highest it's ever been. But the real draw here is 15 months with no interest on new purchases. That means you can max the card out, use the money to invest in other things for over a year, and only pay min payments until mid 2022. Can easily use that credit to nearly double your money if you have the right investment strategy.

Eh, the only thing you are missing is that Capital One does a hard pull on your credit score. Also the original card was 4% on restaurants with no fee. Those who got it when it came out, like myself, are grandfathered in to the 4% for free. 3% is still good, of course.

Does Capital One still hard pull all three, and denies even with just one frozen? It's been a while since I applied with CapOne because of that reason, and hope it's different now.
