This deal seems good for people starting out, younger people who don't have a lot of expenses yet.
There's only a handful of cards with that kind of bonus and they all come with a large annual fee and spend $5k in 3 months. Citi double cash is one of my favorites and you just won't see a bonus on it.
For what it is, this is decent. No af, decent amount back at restaurants. Personally, I don't care for capital one, don't threaten to close an account or they will close it for you.
On the other hand, my own Capital One credit cards seem to get dramatic credit line increases randomly.(without me ever requesting it) Just got a $6700 increase on my Walmart Capital One MasterCard.(again, I never requested it and I never thought about asking for one, since I had no need for more) On the other hand, when I applied for the QuickSilver after 2 years of no other new credit cards, I got denied.
