I do already have a captial one savor card, but I had plans on cancelling it because that one is a $95 annual fee. That could have had something to do with it.

Wacky stuff!! I do think the 3 applications in a month will have something to do with things, I am not expert though

Does cancelling a credit card hit the credit score bad?

I doubt it. I dont know. It doesnt matter because I dont want to pay a $95 annual fee which is in March here if I dont cancel. The savor one is identical to savor card in perks, its just the cashback stuff that is slightly different. And when I saw this savor one $250 sign up bonus, thats definitely worth it.

They are liers... They ve 2 card same name n look... I applied for this one n found that I didn't get anything back plus I paid interest too... When I called, they told me my app was it approved for the one with payback n they issued the other one for me... I paid the whole amount plus interest n will never use it again

Anyone know if you can get this card if u have the normal Savor? Not worth keeping with an annual fee and just 1 extra point per dollar vs this

Got approved, with a $5k limit, I had an old capital one acct the closed a few years ago idk I have any Open capital one acts besides that. I read somewhere on a diff site approval odds are better if u have 3 or less capital one cards.

Cap1 is notorious for its customer service. The customer service is outsourced to some other countries with the reps who are not native English speakers and hard to communicate. I am more concerned about the tedious activation process of the card. They would ask for copies of 1. the front and back of driver's license or gov't ID 2. the front of social security card, signed 3. proof of residence that is a utility bill or bank statement WITH address, name, and FULL ACCOUNT NUMBER. This is what happened to my spouse when she applied for the Quicksilver last April.
