I applied for my wife. She has a very short credit history (immigrant with GC) but a high credit score (thanks hubby!) of 779. The application process required income verification with a W2 and pay stubs, which matches the process she went through when applying for the Capital One Venture card. She was sent an email to upload the documents (for which i provided my 2020 w2, 2019 tax 1099, three previous pay stubs, and three previous month bank statements). Took a couple days to verify but she was approved for a small credit line of $1000. I suppose we'll ask for an increase at some point.

I'll probably do it. These days I'm running out of card offers to do. I've done them all nearly. I had tried for Savor 500 off 3000 a year ago but at the time I had done too many probably exceeding 5/24 rule. Easy $250

Did you apply both together or you already have Quick Silver opened for a while? I have Quick Silver since 10/2018 and was approved for Savor on 2/7.

The welcome email is only what got mentioned the $250 bonus. I did take a screenshot of T&C of the application when I applied.

I also got my card in the mail today, no mention of the bonus anywhere in the welcome packet, I recall they sent an email but I must have deleted it.
